A zero fee can still mean interest
Several verified cards publish no issuer withdrawal fee, yet charge interest from the withdrawal date. TF Bank’s official withdrawal guide describes this combination. Other products have different rules, so a purchase interest-free period cannot automatically be applied to cash. Read the specific card’s withdrawal terms.
Separate the layers of cost
The issuer’s fee, cash interest, an ATM operator’s charge and foreign-exchange markup are separate costs. When withdrawing abroad, check the machine’s offered conversion and the card’s currency terms. A known zero issuer fee does not confirm that the ATM owner or currency conversion is free.
Transfers need their own check
Sending money from a credit card to a bank account can be priced differently from an ATM withdrawal or a purchase. Check the issuer’s transfer rules before initiating it. If a field is unknown, use the current official price list rather than assuming the purchase terms apply.
