Include the announced Classic fee
Classic currently has no membership fee. From 1 November 2026, the issuer announces NOK 30 per month, equivalent to NOK 360 annually. A page describing only a free card therefore gives an incomplete picture for a new application. Calculate eligible spending and actual EuroBonus use, and check prices directly with American Express before choosing.
Points are not cash or guaranteed flight seats
The card earns 10 EuroBonus points per NOK 100 of eligible spending. A companion benefit has its own annual spending requirements and booking terms. Points and a voucher do not mean your preferred flight seat will always be available or every travel cost disappears. Do not increase spending merely to reach a threshold. Interest can exceed the value of the rewards you actually use.
Costs and identification before applying
Nominal purchase interest is 19.8%, and the complete representative example uses NOK 50,000. That amount is not a confirmed maximum credit limit. Cash withdrawal costs 4% with a minimum NOK 25, and currency markup is 2.5%. New-application BankID, age, income and D-number conditions have not been confirmed. Ask American Express about these before applying.
